One of the most exciting and challenging phases in the preparing for a modern rustic wedding is picking out the horses for the carriage. If you have a designated wedding planner, this will be very simple however, if you plan on doing all the planning yourself, there is a need to do a little research especially since there are only a few carriages for rent available.
Ranch Venue
Ranches are very hard to come by when you live in the city which means that you can either choose to get married in the countryside or find a venue which can be decorated according to the theme. Mostly, you have to look for an outdoor venue as it is the most practical type of space for this kind of wedding.
Modern Rustic Wedding Favors
As a way of thanking all your guests who came to celebrate your special day, you should spring for wedding favors that are consistent with the theme of the wedding.
Some of the items that you can give as parting gifts for your gracious guests are cowboy shaped home made cookies, Spurs shaped meringue desserts, boot shaped fridge magnets and post it holders. These things might seem very basic but they are awfully cute and useful.
Modern rustic weddings are expected to be more casual so it would be acceptable for the bride and groom to wear jeans (denims) at the wedding ceremony. Yes, this would qualify as one of the very few times where it would be acceptable for brides to not wear flowing white gowns.
