Bridal Jewelry

When it comes to the most important day of a woman’s life, nothing is too much or too grand.  Bridal jewelry is definitely part of the ensemble and should be given utmost importance.  If you are a bride who have just found the prefect gown to wear on your wedding day, now is the perfect time to move on to finding the best pieces of jewelery that would compliment the dress perfectly.

Choices in Bridal Jewelery

For the most part, you will choose the jewels you will wear based on what you are comfortable with.  Some brides are not really fans of big and chunky earrings and necklaces while others want to go as big as possible.

To make the choice a little easier to make, you need to consider the following:

Wedding Location

Theme

Gown Design

Budget

For most brides, budget is the most important factor in the decision making process, not only with jewelry but with everything else as well.  However, if you have a much more flexible budget, there will be more room for great choices.

The tiara is one of the most popular bridal accessory.  It is both a headpiece as well as a piece of jewelery that really makes a heck of an impression.  If you are going for a fairytale theme wedding, or even a classic one, wearing the tiara would be a great accessorizing move.

Another piece of bridal jewelery is the choker.  Pearls and rhinestones make for great bridal chokers as they are both stunning and equally regal.  If you are on the slim side, this would be perfect, paired with a nice bracelet (except of you will be wearing gloves on your wedding).

If you are having a beach wedding, anklets or ankle bracelets would make for perfect bridal accessories especially if you are contemplating wearing a shorter dress for the occasion.

Earrings are also a very popular piece of bridal jewelery and they would definitely accentuate the bride’s features.  Chunky earrings are not very popular this year though.  Smaller and less ostentatious pieces are more in fashion as the minimalist effect is the big thing this season.

Tip: There is such thing as over accessorizing so make sure that you only choose 2 pieces to wear on your wedding day i.e. if you already have a choker, you should just add either a bracelet or earrings. You want to look like a stunning bride on your big day, not a walking chandelier.
